Never realised how big a difference a 16:10 screen makes. My desktop looks huge now, and I'm only coming from a 23" 16:9 TN screen

What kracher have you got to go with that? Found out the more powerful series give out the best the result. Some say its the dilution resolution but I've compared a low - mid range kracher vs a high end series and the high end wins (for obvious reasons)

My dad gave me his Karcher 2.35M. 1600watts, 100bar.

It was free so it's better than none!

How often did your dad use the 100bar? Their internals are largely made of plastic so don't last that long from experience. A family member bought a Karcher from Makro for £99 which was on offer and came with all bits. This was almost ayear after I bought the Nilfisk 110bar (110.3 model). The Nilfisk gets used twice weekly and has done since 2009~. The Karcher stopped working a year later.

The Nilfisk cost £40! A bunch of others here bought it too and have had equally excellent life and support from Nilfisk regarding replacement hoses/ends etc.

Keep an eye on it, with regular use it probably won't last long!

Edit*
Interesting observation, the Karcher 100bar didn't feel like only 10bar less pressure, it felt like a lot less.

He actually never used it, he bought it to clean the outside/back area of his shop but he ended up using a a bucket and a broom instead so it was unopen when i got it. I have no idea who much he paid for it. If I were to buy one, i am not sure what one I would get as I haven't researched into it, like i said, it was free :)

mrk and other pressure washer owners. Out of curiosity, when you've finished using the PW, do you guys disconnect the hose pipe and leave the power on to 'flush' out any trapped air in the PW before putting back to storage.

I've done this for my PW and its lasted me for 3 years and still works fine where I've heard over brands like the Nilfisk breaks after a year or so. Its only because I know the person who had it never really took any care of it.

Never heard of a Nilfisk breaking! It's the reason I bought mine back then when they were on offer after doing a bit of forum hunting the brand.

If I remember, I flush out the water but most of the time I just disconnect and store in the shed where it lives whatever the weather.

The connector where your water hose connects cracked on mine from repeated connections over the years but Nilfisk sent me a new one. I mentioned a crack in my main hose too which was from getting it caught under the car tyre and they sent a new hose along with the connector.

Internals wise it seems as good as it was when new though.

I recognise that box!

I've gone from a pair of 19" 1440x900 screens to a pair of U2412Ms. Space! ehe
