Steam Summer Sale: What's on your list?

PayDay is a beautiful game, it is basically Left 4 Dead style gameplay except vs cops and not infected, with some of the best grinding I've seen in an online FPS.

Am I the only one who thinks that dude from EA is an idiot? Steam sales hurt game sales? How many people were buying Super Street Fighter 4 before it went on sale? I love the game but lets be honest, it probably sold 2 or 3 copies a week up until now, and now its the best selling game on Steam almost, I'd rather sell a few thousand for £6 than 2 or 3 for £25.

EA fail, how anyone could defend them I have no idea.

That site is awesome!

I don't have a GFWL account, I'll have to make one when I get it, you should make it a Non-Steam game on Steam anyway, no reason not too, that way you get both overlays.

Isn't that the point he was making though? That sales like this devalued games by lowering our perceived value of them. Look at how many now don't buy a game until they're 75% off.

Not saying I agree, just playing devil's advocate.

So what's the difference between 'Anno 2070: Deluxe Edition' at £17.99 and the 'Anno 2070 Collection' at £16.99 :o

I believe the Deluxe edition doesn't contain any of the extra DLC's but contains "exclusive" units/buildings that can only be got with the deluxe edition, a digital soundtrack, art book and tech tree file

I don't think its people waiting on titles like SFIV though, there was no telling if it would hit the sales or not, I kinda agree on the big games like Assassins Creed (people are contemplating whether to buy or risk losing out for the sake of an extra 9%! WTF!) but it certainly gives obscure or dying games extra sales they wouldn't normally get.

If you are thinking of Anno 2070, do it! I doubt we will see you around much once you start playing it though :p

The deluxe doesn't seem worth it though tbh. The collection on the other hand has all the DLC, not bad at that price!
