GOTY is available for preroder, its pretty much the gamwe and the DLC available on steam. Preorder is around £20so I've juts bought it on steam :p

someone over at GAF spotted this..

At the moment, LA Noire is on sale on Steam as The Community Choice. The icon being used for this is that of The Complete Edition:

So it would be fair for one to assume that the Complete Edition of LA Noire is being sold for $3.75. However, clicking through reveals the following:

The $3.75 price point is actually for the base game. The Complete Edition is actually priced at $14.99. Or, if you prefer, a DLC bundle can be purchased for $4.49 which, combined with the base game, comes to a total of $8.24.

This could all be avoided with the use of the correct icon for the base game, yet here we are. Surely this is poor form on Steam's part? The price being advertised on the front page being different to the actual price of the product on offer is at best deceitful and at worst completely unethical.

Edit : looking at those Prices their Base is £2.40 compared to our £4.99 yet the Complete for them is £9.62 and £6.24 for us, weird pricing

It's not very GPU intensive so you might be okay depending on your graphics card.

Make sure one of the first mods you pick up is SkyUI.

I just purchased Orcs Must Die GOTY edition for £3.74. Looks like a lot of fun is to be had :)

SkyUI looks good, if it's not too GPU intensive I should be alright, I've got an I5 2500k and a GTX 260, would overclocking my CPU help much?
 
Pretty sure it won't change your FPS at all. Also why the hidden flash deals? Seems kind of pointless to have something on offer but not tell anybody about it. Will keep an eye out for them in the future though.

Its that bad? I thought it looked like it was something along the lines of populous but updated. For the sake of a couple of pounds I thought it was worth the punt though not when i cant play the thing.
 
Is there a way of browsing through a list of all games on sale, rather than having to narrow down the search by game genre?

I want to see everything that's on sale lol
