Yeah I'm not convinced by the Red Faction game. I enjoyed the original Red Faction on PS2, but didnt think much of the sequals.

Guerilla is fun but you just can't play as a guerilla. Troops find you like they know where you are already, things spawn near you and you get constantly harassed by vehicles and later air support. Coupled with respawning checkpoints and the fact you can't really sneak around most areas planting charging and it loses a lot of its appeal for anything but low difficulty massacres.

im talking about new vegas the standard game is 3.75 or the full version is £7 odd.

also in the post pretty much directly underneath my original i said that i was wrong as i didnt notice there where 6 packs of dlc

i just bought the standard edition of new vegas in the end

No you were saying that buying the standard game + the DLC was as cheaper way of doing it, it isn't. Yes I saw your second post, couldn't be bothered to edit my post though as my point was still valid and could help others who like you, never expanded the DLC list to see the total price. The DLC is definitely worth the money though so the Ultimate Edition is a great buy and saves you some money if you really enjoy the game. :)

Just in case! I've also read that sometimes the cheaper keys can get used up and it moves to a higher price.

I've yet to see that happen, I'd sleep in if I was you! Better for your health! (or at least thats the excuse I use!) ;)

Hmmm. Definetely not wasting any money on it then. Thanks for the heads up :)

Agree completely with this assessment of RF:G, and it's the reason I uninstalled it shortly after finishing the first chapter. That and the novelty of wanton destruction of structures wears thin rather quickly without the rest of the game being sound enough to support it.

Shogun 2 was 75% off on the first day, glad they didn't drop the collection edition to anything less then £19.99 or I would have been annoyed.

I voted for Mirror's Edge, probably won't purchase it though.

Have I missed a daily deal with ARMA 2 with the addon pack? I'm interested in Day Z...but not enough to day £20 for it!

£15 on their official website, wait until DayZ goes standalone until you buy into it though, to avoid being scammed.

People need to vote Mirror's Edge! That game is SO good, probably the most underrated game of this generation, it deserves more exposure for when Mirror's Edge 2 is released so it gets the credit it deserves.

This, along with MMA, are the only two titles EA have nailed perfectly.

I did have great fun on the hardest difficulty using some of the lesser used weapons and sneaking around places with proximity mines or charges and blowing the whole thing in 1 go. But that approach rapidly became impossible by the time you reached even the second area and fire fights on the higher difficulties could become painful fast, and even if you destroyed several outposts with mounted guns, when you came back they'd be fully repaired.

Voted Mirrors Edge also. Was an excellent game. Little disappointed about the amount of run n gun you really required towards the end but otherwise, brilliant.

Guerilla is a decent game, well worth the price. The damage model used on the buildings is still the most advanced I've seen by a mile, the game stays fun as long as messing around with the destructable buildings stays fun, for me that was the entire game.

Granted the rest of the game is by the numbers, but they got enough right that at £3.74 it's worth a shot for anyone with half an interest. The biggest complaints I saw regarding Red Faction Armageddon were that it moved too far away from the Guerilla formula, so it obviously got something right.

Good deal on Shogun 2, but I have never liked the Shogun series of Total War games, so I think I will pass on that. Voted for Mirrors Edge by the way.
