London

London is no longer British. I need to take my passport every time I go.

British? Define British, white folk?

London is so diverse, multi-cultural, multi-ethnic, the mix is probably what makes it one of the best cities in the world.

I work in London and would never work in the local areas again. Much less incompetence (i.e useless *****), jobsworth's and a higher level of intelligence in the workplace, in my experience.

This is generally the case. These type of people aren't really "bothered" by "foreigners" it's all to do with skin colour. If London were full of "white folk" from around Europe I doubt he'd be complaining about anything.

Ha ha you joking or maybe you live in Kensington?

I occasionally go to London to visit a friend who lives in Tottenham and whilst I enjoy it the place is a sh*thole. On my way in from Oxford I see loads of high rise dark and dingy council blocks too.

i live in tottenham.. its like the rest of london just less green :D

Some areas of london are very nice, if you can avoid public transport and live in a nice part it is a completely different city. Problem with london is it that it pays a lot but you end up living outside of london and then never get to enjoy all the night life in london because it is such a commute that you are sick of doing from commuting all week.

Working in London at the moment. Loving it :)

There's just an atmosphere, which to be honest, the slight resentment by all commuters at rush hour adds to :) It is a bit of a pain having to commute in (1.5hrs ea way), but actually it's not a bad journey. If I could change one thing I'd live within walking distance of a station so I could drink, rather than having to drive. But apart from that I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

Just stay away from the tube between 17:30 and 18:00 and you'll be fine :)

I work with a guy that lives near hyde park as his dad owns a house due to some government thing and he catches a bus or a few tube stops to work and then he goes to convent garden in the evenings and walks home or uses those rental bikes.

Depends on where you live, where you work and what you like.

It's six minutes on the tube into work. I can walk either way. I live in a culturally diverse area and I love it. I've lived in much nicer, safer and more affluent areas and have disliked it intensely.

Every time I'm in london, its an atmosphere of probable rape and murder that i feel :o

How often are you in London? And where abouts?

Also, you can't beat some of the bars and restaurants in London :)

It's really odd, I'm much more of a country boy than a city boy, and some of the city boys in London really shock me, but same can be said of those who are scared of the big city xD What on earth's going to happen...
