***** Pictures of things we bought in July 2012 *****

a bucket has lasted you a few years? how often are you using it? whats the point using it once a week

I use it to get protein after a workout if I haven't got dinner ready for when I get home. I am not a body builder and generally have an alright diet so its an occasional supplement. I play hockey, climb and do muay thai along with plenty of other sports so I don't want to be big but its helps with the recovery sometimes.

I guess I am quite lucky that I don't need to do too much to put on muscle when I actually train.

Here's the scales I bought from eBay. The imbeciles decided that suitable packaging was a plastic bag - literally.

Of the 8 screws 5 sheared.

I'm furious at them for wasting my time over it - but there's not much I can do other than tell them I want my money back and give them -ive feedback. They can take a running jump if they think I'll do anything other than give them a photo - I'm not sending them back.

I must admit, I don't like this new keyboard. Not because it's not mechanical, but the enter button, backspace, ctrl and alt buttons are far too small and keep hitting the wrong ones. I'd probably get used to it but meh.

I won't send it back, as it'll be handy to have a backup but I think that I'll be using my old one for the time being. Might nip into a shop and see if I can get a go of a mechanical one.

So much for not needing to spend over £4 for a keyboard.

Eitherway, I do like mechanical keyboards. :D

I've got another coming from eBay - a mechanical Salter one.

That one was £8.somethingorother. Regardless I wanted weigh myself at the start of my diet and I can't because some moron decided that sending plastic and glass scales with no packaging was a great idea.

I am however enjoying myself by insulting them as much as possible in the emails I'm sending to them.

Tip, use the scales on a hard surface if you can and same surface, it can fluctuate slightly depends on the surface it's on. Don't get obesses on weighting yourself daily, that's almost disheartening, once a week is fine, same time of the day. I usually do it in the morning after dropping the kids off in the pool :p

Yeah - every 2 weeks and no more often. I'll weigh myself in the bathroom where it's flat and hard... updates in my corpulence reduction thread.

I've actually just noticed that they've sent me the wrong one. It's a costier model and has slimline keys. Think I'll have to get this returned. If they sent the wrong one, they are liable to pay for my postage, right?

I'll open a support thread.

Good luck and I look forward to seeing your progress.

Oh, when ever I feel weak and want to give in, I say to myself "'mind over matter" lol it kinda works. And I also think that if all those POWs can survive on a spud for a week I can survive on steak and veg without snacking on ****. (a bit extreme I know but it works for me) then walk away from the kitchen.

Shirt and tie for work. Spotted it on the way home and then saw the price.... Any guesses? :-D
