Battlefield 4 - Thread

Hmmmm, this is starting to remind me off another franchise by another publisher/developers...........

I will laugh and laugh and laugh if the premium players don't get beta access :D :p

That will truly say it all about the "premium" package and EA/DICE in general and pretty much confirm that everyone who bought it has been well and truly bent over :p

Like how they say " the team is hard at work ", " We are extremely proud of Battlefield 3 " also " we are humbled by the community’s response to the game, and couldn’t be happier with the feedback we have received to Battlefield 3 Premium "

How much does dice/ea twist the truth?, they are as bad as the labour, conservs!

To be honest every server on my favourites and history are more full now then ever since premium has been released! I and others are loving the game more then ever at the moment! If i get another 1000 hours or so out of this game with expansions coming especially armoured kill I think they done there job ok!

Warfighter looks good too and i know few of the guys I play with are looking forward to it too!

EA said:
When we launched the game, we introduced unparalleled levels of in-game destruction, all-out vehicle warfare and redefined online gameplay.

lolll arrogant much.

Too everyone complaining about annualized releases, let me remind you with something:

2002 Battlefield 1942
2004 Battlefield Vietnam
2005 Battlefield 2
2005 Battlefield 2: Modern Combat
2006 Battlefield 2142
2008 Battlefield: Bad Company
2009 Battlefield Heroes
2009 Battlefield 1943
2010 Battlefield: Bad Company 2
2010 Battlefield Online
2011 Battlefield Play4Free
2011 Battlefield 3
2013/14 Battlefield 4

As long as there are significant engine changes that cannot be done with an expansion, then I'm all for it. The graphics envelope should be encouraged so we can actually take advantage of expensive hardware.

only 1942, bfv, bf2, 2142, bc2, bfo, bfp4f then bf3 on pc tho so a much longer wait for the die hard pc gamers.

a couple of them wern't proper bf games either, more like spin offs.

Yes? I simply listed all the games released that have the Battlefield name on it. Just like how not every COD is done by the same company - and within dice you had the BC team and the BF team. Most likely they'll all be moved to work on BF4 which will increase output.

But please for the love of Christ make use of a spellchecker, it's really hard to make out what you're saying.

But CoD is one series, Dice are doing 2 different series. I very much doubt they'd be able to release BF4 this year..

I do agree with you on EA pushing Dice though, makes sense.

It's not.

Treyarch and Infinity Ward have very different ideas about what makes a COD game? They just share a common name. That will be the only difference between the Battlefield / MOH cycle and the COD cycle

Some of those were cross platform ports of existing games, others were console only and only available from XBL arcade or just plain not intended for battlefield fans (bf pay 4 free)

There was usually about 3 years between proper bf games. And now DICE are going to be forced to a strict 24 month dev cycle, which is going to mean more of BF3 - ie games released un finished with stuff they promised missing

i don't think there's much wrong with the spelling apart from the my use of "tho"

you just don't understand the abbreviations that's all.

tbh a game isn't "proper battlefield" if its not on pc imo.

personally i think even 2013 is too soon. we will have to wait and see i suppose.

What is your definition of a 'proper bf game'? Obviously the F2P games were not developed by Dice but you had 2142 which was released like a year after 2 and they made pretty significant changes to the game in just that short period. But then you had BC and a sequel released 2 years later. They should get plenty done during that time.

Being negative when we don't even have a clue about it is not really constructive.
