What do people think of Napoleon total war? I loved med 2 + Rome and kind of liked shogun 2 but the setting didn't light my fire. As a huge fan of the Sharpe novels I wanted Empire to be awesome but felt it was pretty frustrating with units not going where asked or just suddenly stopping and getting ganked by very inferior forces - so is Napoleon more of Empire or is it Empire fixed?

Cheers

So Alan Wake... Shall buy it ?

Yes! Make sure to play it in the dark for the full experience. :D

Shows as a bundle, you cant gift games you already own from bundles either unless its a Valve bundle.

There are non-valve games as well! Just not that many.

Here is the article which is the same one Steam links you to if you try and buy a bundle for yourself with some games in you already own: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=4502-TPJL-2656

GOTY and Ultimate editions have all of the dlc.

Both GOTY and Ultimate Edition deals are incredible, especially FO3 for £3.74, you get 5 pieces of dlc for that totaling what has to be an additional 20-30 hours plus of content at least.

Totally agree, excellent value games for the hours you can put into them.

Alan Awake was not what i expected, way too much TORCH + ENEMY it became tiresom
wanted a bit more story and characters, looked lovely though :)

Did you read the pages as you collected them? Adds more to the story. Personally I found it very good, not quite completed it yet but close.

Can't believe they're still charging 14.99 for L4D1. I paid that almost 3 years ago when it was half price from GAME.

Err, its £12.99, L4D2 is £14.99! ;)

Hence the difference in sale prices. Admittedly the Flash Sale icon is mis-leading, although that isn't the first time.

Sorry if people already know this but I noticed that under the witcher 2 for 60& off it also links to the witcher 1 directors cut edition for 75% off - £1.74

Epic bargain :)

It's a perception thing then I guess. I just get that "socks for xmas" feeling when 4 or 5 of the games are repeats at the big unveil at 6pm. I know in my head that they're probably offering more separate titles than last year, but it still feels a bit anticlimactic.

Anyhow picked up Dead Space 2, F3AR, Dungeon Defenders, EYE and Longest Journey. I missed Singularity last year so was secretly hoping for it to creep back in, but there's not been a Darksiders this year so I guess it's unlikely to show and I'll probably just get it in a daily sometime.
