Do I hold a valid EU work permit?

Filling in an application form, it's the only question surrounding this topic.

I have a British Passport, is this an EU work permit, as it does entitle me to work in the EU :/

Like I say, it's the only question regarding eligibility to work in the UK or EU.

This. It's likely aimed at people like me who would require one to work.

However, if the role you're looking at involves working in a different country, then it may be that you would require one as well? I may well be wrong here, but even a citizen would require a visa to work for more than a certain amount of time in a different country?

Not all EU citizens have the right to work in UK

Correct, he may have the right to work here however as a whole, not all EU citizens have the right to work in the UK.

They do, there are some restrictions on Bulgarian and Romanian Nationals for the first year in which they work in the UK as an Employee....they can however work in the UK as self-employed or in the seasonal agricultural workers scheme or the Sector based scheme which is predominantly low paid food manufacture.

Basically All EU citizens have a right to work in the UK, However those two nations have some restrictions set on them regarding what work they can do in what capacity they can work without a work permit.

However this program just closed and my girlfriend (Romanian) is on her dissertation now... which sucks. The restrictions on Bulgarians and Romanians ends on or before the 31 Dec 2013. (it was supposed to end in January of this year, but was extended) also she can apply for unrestricted work as a skilled person under the BR2 and the points system....if she has a masters degree and has been living (and working) in the UK then it is likely she has the 75 points required to remain. The UK border Agency doesn't seem to aware of any closure or alteration to this scheme.

Anyway none of this applies to the OP as he hold a British Passport and their are no such restrictions on him working in the EU.
