Euromillions

lost a fiver on friday (2x euro 1x thunderball) and thought bah why do i bother playing, then after a few beers thisevening i spent another £5 on 3x lotto and 2x thunderball.. got 3 numbers on the lotto so i get my lost cash back from friday :)

So then chaps, the biggy is coming up this Friday.

£105,000,000.000 jackpot, plus 100 guaranteed UK millionaires!

I have just purchased 5 lucky dips for myself and the good lady which is the most I have ever spent. One million will be enough for me to leave work and go into the property letting business. :D

I bought a ticket. I've got a lucky feeling about this one. If I win £100M omg, I think I'll probably have a heart attack and never get to spend it all lol.

I don't know why they don't just split the prize into 1 million Euro/Pound chunks. Surely it's better to have 100 x millionaires than 1 person with 100 million. You could live of a million pound win quite easily if you were sensible and invested it before starting to spend.

Ahh but the chances of winning heighten.

Not good for the "house".

Plus it doesn't bring in as much people.

I would so laugh if exactly a day after this, Europe crashed.

:p

Why? You understand the 100*millionaire would still be way richer than you if there was a crash right, seeing as how you would be just as screwed as he is?

I often think this, but maybe not to the same extent. It's the reason I usually don't bother with euromillions. What use would i have for 80 million? To me it would be no more useful than 10 million(of which atleast half i would give to family members anyway). I would much sooner have a greatly increased chance of winning than a higher jackpot

I bought 10 tickets for this Friday  ......but I don't secretly expect to win. The only reason I even bought any was because of the 100 millionaires thing they have going on, but it's still probably better odds just to buy standard lottery tickets....

Well if you win you're welcome to send the other 80 million my way as I don't think I'd have too much trouble finding a use for it.

If I won £100m, I'd probably buy £80m of 'normal' property, straight away, lol. Plus start a company to manage it, etc.

Student houses mate! Get em as close to the uni as possible and they'll sell like hotcakes regardless of their condition (normally disgusting) AND you can charge them a fortune and take at least 50% of their deposit with no questions asked!

One of the student houses I lived in was a super tiny, super **** terraced house, each of us (4) paid £3500 a year, that's £14k a year. You're going to spend £1k max (most likely a few hundred) in property maintenance each year, BUT you'll get at least £500 from the deposit. Each house is maybe £300k on the market, that's over 300 student houses each earning £14k a year lol. That a yearly income of ~£4M for the rest of your life, with that figure only increasing as you put the rent up every year without fail. Not to mention you can shovel all the duties off on a letting agency! Ridiculously easy money.

With 10mill i could really make only myself rich. With 100million I can make my family and friends rich as well, and still have enough to do what ever i want.
