Is there a monitor or manufacturer who offers a zero dead or stuck pixel guarantee?

I have been unlucky in just about every monitor I have bought and lets be honest here they are really annoying.

I know I can return under DSR but it's messing about and time I don't really have right now.

Dell?

3 year on-site next business day replacement warranty - direct with Dell UK

All of our Dell monitors are sold with a pixel perfect guarantee for the duration of the warranty period, in the unlikely event your monitor has ANY pixel defect we will arrange for the monitor to be replaced next working day, to arrange this simply email us the monitor serial number, order reference or invoice number, the address and a contact mobile of where you would like it replaced. Calls must be logged before 4pm qo qualify.(UK Customers only)

To make a warranty call with Dell simply call 0844 338 1200 ask for the monitor department quoting the works order number and serial number. The warranty is logged against the monitor serial number and does not need registering. Dell works order number can be found on the original box outer packaging (The number at the top of the Dell packing label), the serial number is on the back of the monitor.

It'd still mean changing if needed, but you don't need to faff and be without a screen whilst the process is going on. This is standard for any authorised Dell reseller iirc

Samsung have a zero dead pixel policy although I'm not sure what the replacement procedure is. Unlikely to be as fast as Dell's but it's easier than going the DSR route.

Surprised Samsung do that policy as more often than not when I have bought a Samsung it's either got a dead or stuck pixel lol.

How does it work then purchase a Samsung screen from a retailer then ring them direct for there cover? If that's the case what if it turns up with a shot pixel to start with?

dell at least send you the new one to test before you need to send old one back so you dont go without best out there imo cant beat them for that well worth it 3 years is massive warranty

Not in my experience. I have a faulty pixel in my Samsung (bought B-grade), and it doesn't really bother me (as it changes colour etc and isn't in the middle) but I phoned Samsung up about it anyway a couple of weeks ago when I realised it was still under its original warranty. They insisted they'd only repair it under warranty if it had at least 4 dead/stuck pixels. This is the S27A950D as well which is a high end one of theirs!

That's in Korea only, apparently.

Just spotted a single dead sub-pixel on the screen of my new Samsung laptop and now I've got to agonise over returning it under DSR. Already sent the first one I received back because of physical defects. Only got another couple of days to decide on that :(

wrong section for that though.

OcUK offer this:

Sorry for bumping this thread not been around for a few weeks anyway...

To the above comment do OCUK pay for the shipping back then if I bought a Samsung monitor off them and they was a dead or stuck pixel on it?

If they don't then their not really offering anything better than anyone else just standard DSR ? Because buyer still has to pay for courier back
