Logitecg G13 modded thumbstick.

I received my G13 today and immediately changed that horrible thumbstick to one from a spare xbox 360 controller I had lying around.

Does Logitech think that people have miniature thumbs

Having never seen a G13 in person, was it an easy mod to make?

Very easy, there are plenty of guides on the internet (Xim3 forums which includes pics) and on Logitech's own forums.

You can buy a set of four official xbox 360 sticks for £4 from the rainforest.

Took me around 15 mins to do including dissembling the 360 controller.

I love that it has lots of background colour options and third part app support. I'm using LCDSir|Real which is pretty sweet.

You could use Sugru (www.sugru.com) to mould your own to fit your thumb perfectly!
