I've been looking at purchasing a 2560 x 1440 monitor and at the moment, i'm running two stock GTX 570 1.2gb cards.

I was wondering if anybody has any ideas how those two cards will fare in modern games?

I'm not bothered about AA or even max detail settings. It's just whether it'll run at an acceptable frame rate.

If you stay with that train of thought, you will be fine, it's the ultra settings in a few titles that will slow down your gpu's at 1440 and above, 570 SLi is no slouch.

Yeah. I play BF3 with no AA and Medium Details anyway. Can't really tell much of a difference.
It's just all of the "VRam limit" talk that's making me think twice.

How does a single 670 Perform at 1440p?

I had tri sli 470's with the same vram but more compute power anything over high @1440p frame rate would plumet from 110fps to 10

So frame rate wont be an issue if your happy to lower settings but over step the limit you will result with a slide show.
