Hi and in advance i'm sorry if there is a forum specific for this but i couldn't see it.

Bottom line is i have a £100 pound to spend on a mouse to play FPS games like crysis2 with but i don't want to lay the cash until i know i'm buying one that looks a good match for me.

Basically i'm right handed and have relatively large hands. I currently use the mouse that came with this:

As my logitech m510 stopped communicating with its receiver.

I don't think because of my hand size that an
ambidextrous mouse would work well with me as i tend to hold a mouse rather than grip it and so far the m510 was the most comfortable mouse i've had yet.

I really don't want one where my pinky will be dragging the mouse mat. I was looking at the black adder:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=KB-069-RA&groupid=702&catid=23&subcat=1257

But if anyone can suggest something they believe more suitable this would be much appreciated.

PS only mice overclockers sell as this will be my place of purchase.

Many thanks

Hey thanks guys, sorry about the mis-spell on the DEATH adder ;)

Since you say that is the standard that other manufacturers look to i guess this is what i will go for many thnx.

As a right-handed alpha male with large hands you sir deserve the quality Deathadder. It shall not let you down. I have had both the g400 and the deathadder, both excellent but the greater beast is no doubt the deathadder. Best of luck to you my good sir.

I have honestly thought about trying to game or even going to a LAN party with something like this:

The classic IBM model M :D

I wouldn't recommend the razer products to anyone, I have had two of there razer mice and both have messed up within a year of use, the wheel is bad on them, if you want a mouse that keeps your little finger of the mat and if you have big hands it's fully adjustable, then I suggest the Cyborg R.A.T 7

Very bad sensor though.

I like my rat 9 but admit I have also had sensor issues, if the sensor gets any dirt in it at all you have to blow on it or the cursor will "lock up".

Apparently the 6400 dpi version fixes it but the 5600 dpi which many places sell has the issues.

It comes with 3 pinky rest attachments, one which stops your pinky from dragging on the surface...but I found that particular rest uncomfortable. Maybe it won't be for you but if you use the default rest then your pinky will be dragging unfortunately.
