Boris Johnson - My Hero

Would you guys actually want him as PM though? Putting aside his gift for comedy and his obvious intellect, isn't he a little too loose to be PM?

e : ^ I don't think stupid is an accusation you could level at him. He's a terrific actor though ;)

We've given plenty of other useless people a chance. Letting Boris have a go probably couldn't hurt.

i think most people just want a laugh, Boris is a laugh and people vote for a character as well as policy. the terminator made it to be governor of California and i bet money it was largely due to his film roles.

I know absolutely nothing about him but I like him.

He's just likeable for some reason. Maybe it's because I've seen him on a few comedy programs. I get the impression he's fairly laid back and can have a laugh.

I've met him twice and he always seems to be genuine. What you see is what you get, there isn't a man behind the curtain. Was at an event where he managed to auction off a packet of fish and chips for £100 :D

Boris and Paxman drunk.

I agree, Im not interested in politics or politicians tbh but even I'll admit Boris has caught my attention. He seems to say it like it is, has a brilliant SOH and is full of witty comebacks.

Boris for PM.

You're joking, right? You know that much of the act is, well, an act? Like the hair? He actually messes it up just before he does any public appearances. I'm sure the style of delivery is genuine, but that's about it. He's found an act which appeals to people who think he's not another from the same group as Cameron and Osborne (he is, of course). A living proof of the principle that image is what sells in politics.

So once again with the personality > goals, achievement, worth, sense personal character.

As much as I like Boris, he would be a terrible person for the job, though that doesn't say much when the recent Prime ministers were also terrible for the job.

I am sick of leaders with zero integrity, zero versatility, zero credibility, zero principle...all face and no trousers.

Its nothing but a sick joke, a game with us as foolish spectators, nothing but a job to some people.

/rantity rant.

Boris is a laugh, as well as Prince Philip.

Nothing wrong with a bit of showmanship :)

But he's by far one of the most straight talking and honest politicians around. While I'm sure he has his agendas he's a far cry from the self serving scambags like 99% of them.

Love boris and would love to give him a shot at being PM. Will never happen though so were stuck with the slimy two faced leaders we currently have and will always have.

Boris on the other hand seems like a genuine bloke who can get the job done and do damn good at it at the same time while fulfilling everything he promised to do pretty much. <3<3<3
