If you haven't done already, check out the Guild Wars Beyond storyline - it bridges the gap between the two games and it does give you a nice amount of money which should get you a couple of points.

I know that The Immortals have now become more or less the offical OcUK GW2 guild. I think that is great and I wish you all the best!

I think, however, that we in Tsunami (probably on the EU server Gandara) will take sPvP (tournament 5v5) slightly more seriously than The Immortals, so if that is what any of you guys are looking for, please do check out our website: http://tsunamigw2.shivtr.com/

EDIT: We have a relaxed and hazzle free take towards recruitment at the moment, so that people can find out whether the guild is for them (and vice versa). So just apply and come and talk to us on Mumble

Why don't you guys roll on Desolation, 2 reasons: 1, so we can kick your ass :eek:

in 5v5

we have some players who take this very seriously (they still play swtor just for this) and 2 its more guilds to link up with WvWvW.

Would be cool to have a few more OcUK guilds rolling on Desolation, also having read a bunch of forums it looks like the server is thought to be one of the strongest in WvW also.

Aye would be, and the reason I'm saying Desolation is because its the server most OcUk guilds will be on, had another server come up with more ocuk guilds I would have moved the Immortals there.

Gandara was the guild's choice from the start (picked randomly) and it has worked out so far in the betas. Although we will have players who will do PvE and WvWvW, most will focus on PvP. Basically that means that server choice is not that important. But yeah, would be nice to hook up with other OcUK peeps at some point.

As for kicking ass, just be gentle with us

Can we get a character name / server thread up after the game launches? I will be rolling on desolation as well but will be in a guild with a core group of friends and some mutual friends.

Would be nice to say hello to the overclockers I run into.

People are always a bit reluctant to put up names before the game, as you always get the kiddies who think its funny to try steal names.

Be a good idea to try sort a new thread with in game names once the game is actually out.

The way it works is your region locked at login, so for instance you will only be able to login at the time the EU servers go online if you purchased an EU version of the game.

However apart from that all the EU and US servers are available in the game and you are free to select any server between the two to play on.

So to clarify you are free to play with your US friends.

Funny enough only deleted it today, not a issue downloading new copy, think it took me about 20 mins to download last one.

Did anyone have frame rate problems during the beta?

I didn't play for long. Didn't want to ruin my experience but it seemed to struggle for me.

Running 1920 x 1080, Medium pre-set. Specifications in my sig.

Probably a driver or xfire issue, which AMD will prob sort out once game is released.

I wouldnt imagine the spec in your sig should struggle!

Everyone who I've seen mention performance issues were running dual card setups as I don't think they've been provided for just yet. Wouldn't worry with your setup come the full game.
