Pot Noodle

They're alright compared to the Tesco value equivalents.

26p.... They should be called Pot Dirt.

Those really are nasty, they have hardly any taste at all. Their 10p noodles are the same, but they did taste good at one point. They were almost as good as super noodles years ago. Then like everything they change the recipe for a cheaper one and they taste ****. Tesco did the same with their instant tomato and herb pasta sachets, they repacked the Tesco value ones as Tesco brand and then introduced a crapper version as their Value ones .

how they can charge £1 for a pot noodle is beyond me,
is it cause they have next to no fat in them, so they are healthy :)
or was it salt im not sure , but omg £1 to eat that!!!!

tip: add some salad cream to the pot noodle. mouth is watering just thinking of it.

i used to really enjoy the bacon flavour pot noodle, until i found out it had that colouring/chemical in it that was known to cause cancer :p lol

I wonder exactly how far up the class ladder a person has to be before it is the norm to reach adulthood without ever having eaten a pot noodle.

I didn't realise that eating pot noodles was one of the steps to reaching adulthood these day or that class came into the equation. How very bizarre!

Are you a pot noddle snob?

I wasn't having a go at you, it's just your comment made me ponder the likelihood of someone reaching (for example) 30-40 without EVER having eaten a pot noodle.

And yes I imagine class very much plays a part in this. A binman is much more likely to eat a pot noodle than the queen.

Realistically most people (as in the vast majority) will have at some point eaten a pot noodle in their teens.

Personally I think Pot Noodle brand noodle pots have gone way downhill since the 90s, they mostly taste of salt now. Golden Wonder noodle pots are way better, you get tons of noodles in those big pots and the flavours are delicious.

I used to have the Sweet and Sour flavoured Pot Noodle on occasions as a teen. I'll admit I liked it and probably would have one now.

Might look in the shop to see if they still do that flavour tonight :)

try and get the golden wonder branded one, or you might be sadly disapointed as the pot noodle as they are now don't taste too great :/
