So, first work day of the olympics today, with all the doom and gloom about commuter chaos what was your experience?

There are 10 of us in the office today, all saying its continuing the trend from last week, even quieter than usual! We are in the regents park area though.

So anyone had commuter chaos today or was it all a massive over reaction? :D

My commute was hell - I had to dodge the footballs left in the hallway by my nephew yesterday as I made my way downstairs to the office! I plan on going in tomorrow though so I hope this trend continues.

Was fine this morning, Cannon st was **** getting out of because they are limiting the exits,

this evening should be interesting with london bridge closed,

I didn't cycle in today as I came in from my girlfriends up in Watford. The commute to Farringdon was no different from usual but tonight I have to commute from Chancery Lane through Stratford to Manor Park. I'm not having any of that so I'm leaving at lunchtime and will work from home in the afternoon.

The roads were strangely void of any traffic from Harrow towards Northolt where I work close to. Normally these roads leading to Heathrow are rammed.

I was in Islington on Thursday. Left half hour early arrived 40 minutes early. I didn't book anymore jobs in London until the games are finished. Looks like that was an unnecessary precaution
