Scam or world changing technology?

[..] the time of travel for example from Tehran to New York will be about 10 minutes maximum. [..] The craft will not be detectable with present radar technology.

[..]the powers that control energy supplies and through them the present financial structures will find their hands empty.

Does that sound like Utopia to anyone, really? Desperate leaders in countries whose sole source of serious income disappears are given an extremely cheap way to make undetectable attacks on any location on Earth...and it all turns out wonderfully? Attack anywhere from anywhere in 10 minutes using a very cheap and completely undetectable attack...nowhere would be safe from even a small-scale underfunded terrorist organisation.

If I thought there was any chance of it being real, I'd be worried. The only odd thing about it is the claim that they will make the technology available to scientists for investigation. Scammers usually don't even claim that they will do that at some point.

Don't underestimates peoples belief systems. Many many people belief in such systems and use YouTube to prove it, and it's all some big conspiracy.

Tim minchin - storm, sums it up nicely. I'll post the relevant bits. Change homeopathy for any other nonsense.
:D Yeah, saw him live at Hay's not long back - very good.

Perhaps I'm giving them too much credit, I assume when they talk about that kind of thing they take out the isolated system part (by the 2nd definition), as (as good as, relative to our currently global energy requirements) infinite energy exists all around us - it's just a matter of harnessing it.

3-D printing machines which can self replicate & can also print/install solar panels being a great example of a small energy input to create massive amounts of (as good as infinite) energy, which could be reality in a matter of years/decades.

When the hell did 3-D printing become able to print photovoltaic cells? Although i realise you are probably talking about the structure of a panel, which I really cant tell with out numbers, though no doubt is probably cheaper than what we have currently.

The only way that we are ever going to be able to such things is if we invent a energy to matter converter, which for moment is Utopian.

I read it a while back, it looked pretty legit (MIT website).

I didn't say it could be done currently, saying that at some point in the near future I can fully imagine the two technologies combining.

If any of this was real, I would think it wouldn't be used for transport of people from one place to another, but more likely transport of bombs from one place to another. At the speed these things would have to work at to make the claims it does then they would be very difficult to shoot down, you wouldn't even need as many forward air bases if you could just fly everything from your own country to the country you are attacking, drop bombs and return within 30 min.

I'm not selling this stuff or promoting it but please visit the site and view the info rather than just dismissing it out of hand: The guy says quite openly that there is no such thing as free energy!

Read through the stuff and watch the videos; I dunno if he's genuine or not but at least give him the benefit of the doubt until you have read/watched the presentations etc.

If it's a pile of poo, we'll soon find out; read and listen etc and then give a view.

I may be a naive person but I'm prepared to wait for the big presentation in September to see if it's all a scam.

If you your self bothered to read the site you would see he has been promising big presentations since mid 09 on the forum, he wants money up front despite no body everh seeing any proof of his claims. Oh and then there is the buy now or a 3k generator will be 10k once released bla bla bla buy my book this faster than the speed of light that... I don't mean to offend you but if you genuinely believe this you deserve to have your money taken from you, infact I feel a little embarrassed for you. It is such an obvious scam!! If he was telling the truth and just wants to help the world he would open source the plans or at very least get his generators peer reviewed.

Instead he makes claims his tech can heal people in comas... How can people be so thick, unless you are just a troll ;)

London to New York in an hour when traveling through the planet sounds reasonable. High speed travel isn't the problem, for example the Earth travels around the Sun at over 100,000Km/h and rotates at about 1600Km/h. You don't notice it as it's constant, no acceleration or deceleration. The problem comes when you try to attain those high speeds quickly, our bodies just aren't built to sustain the type of g forces which would result from the type of travel outlined in the op.

I like the idea of this, would still be very useful for cargo.

I'm not a troll or thick and despite my apparent naivety, neither do I believe all this stuff as gospel.

It may well be beneath the dignity of some to even look but I'm a little surprised at the aggressive attitude towards anyone who might even think for a second that the technology is possible.

I posted the info' to get other people's views (after perusing) and in hindsight, I suppose that I really should have known that there would be some who would come running with pitchforks shouting 'burn the witch!' or 'the world is flat!' ..... damn! you'll be telling me that there's no Santa next!

Descending to personal insults, veiled or not with smilies, seems par for the course here now for anyone even asking ... meh!

BAHAHAHAHA!!!

No. mavity is caused by mass, not magnetism. And the Earth has a single core. So... yeah. These guys are crackpots.

Well mavity could have something to do with magnetism, mavity acts a lot like a single pole magnetic field that affects everything, makes more sense than space curving.

I have read the site and the forums hence me telling you to have a look yourself, the man is claiming all kinds if outrageous stuff left right and center. I would rather be harsh and for you to take a second look at the stuff actually written on the site than you believe it and who knows possibly think it's a good idea to put a deposit down on one of these "reactors".

Just ask yourself if this man can create a reactor out of a coke bottle to produce endless energy why has he not given everyone in the world the plans on how to do it, or entered into the Virgin land a robot on the moon for $25000000. The only thing he seems to push are his books and the deposits for the reactors, on the forums he gets hostile towards anyone asking questions he cannot answer and it appears messages get deleted. He also claims to have healed someone in a coma and used his tech to bring down the US drone in Iran...

If you could please quote me something from the site which he has said or any evidence of his claims, or even evidence that any of the previous meetings he had arranged have happened then I would be grateful as I have missed them myself.

'burn the witch!' or 'the world is flat!' ..... damn! you'll be telling me that there's no Santa next!

It's a discussion board and people are perfectly at liberty to express their views. The witch burning, flat earth, St Nic botherers are far more likely to side with the info in the OP than question in it.

The problem you've got is that many people on this forum have a pretty good grasp of physics (I have a physics degree and I'm sure I'm not the only one). You've admitted you have very little knowledge of science, and yet you expect your opinion to carry the same weight as those who do.

It certainly explains how all the illegal immigrants got into the UK undetected!

Not at all! I'm asking people like yourself to have a look and then if you've studied the stuff and refute all that's being explained from a physics background, terrific; maybe even give reasons, if so inclined but if someone is just saying it's a scam because they don't think the site is professionally put together or it sounds too good to be true, that's something else.

I have not stated that I believe or not, I'm sure there are many people 'blinded by the explanation of science' ..... only that I'm prepared to have a look and wait until Sept to see what happens; if it is proven to be ****, that's not a problem for me but if it is demonstrated to work, it truly will be the greatest discovery of all time.

Don't shoot the messenger!
