unimportant things that annoy you

Sloppy/Terrible news reporting.

Usually bad spelling, grammar, trash or incorrect content among many other silly mistakes. Also cannot stand it when the media describes something that clearly is not the case at all, usually in conjunction with totally over-emphasising an aspect. Biggest annoyance is when the media gives advice or reports on a technical subject they have absolutely no clue about.

You are a journalistic outfit reporting the news, you do not have creative license to become the next fiction best seller. Of all of the people on the face fo the planet who should check and double check their sources/facts, spelling and information accuracy it's you - Do it; properly.

The way google become after the last update. I hate the way it ignores entire words in search and splits them out of context. I hate how even putting things in quotes no longer guarantees it won't ignore words. I don't like how it decides to show me a page full of "did you mean (americanized word only visually similar to what you were looking for)" with option to do search on my word, instead of showing me search results for my word and politely suggesting "did you mean". I don't appreciate how it caches months old front pages of blogs that no longer even have the article related to your search on that front page. I think Google has made a massive mistake by first pushing people into optimizing their spam to search engine instead of optimizing their search engine to actual content. I think they made even bigger mistake by then blacklisting and darknetting majority of the keyword optimized CMS's when they rolled out penguin. I hate how it now ranks pages in some bizarre, broken way where commercial social media spammers always end up on page one together with old, half abandoned sites with missing images and a basic xml template from MS Word and actual content, text, pages and pages of proper in depth articles practically don't appear for 40-50 pages. I hate how it's now easier to find something via image search than by context search. And finally, I hate that there is no alternative. Bing is retarded. Yahoo is Bing. Everything else is just a joke.

By law, a bus has right of way when indicating to pull out. If you were to come to a bus indicating to pull out on your driving test, you would fail if you didn't let it out.

I don't think that's actually correct. Highway code only gives "best practice" advice to "allow priority to these vehicles when you can do so safely."

I believe bus drivers version of Highway code states "once indicated, it is safe to pull out regardless of conditions as your vehicle will immediately enter hyperspace and cease to exist in the same time and space as the rest of the vehicles on the road" though.

I agree with the point though, it does annoy me.

Emo/goth types annoy me too. They think they are so alternative and cool, when they really are bigger followers of the herd than any "chav". People who yearn to be Japanese and/or lust over cartoon school girls too.

Why copy/follow them? Do your own thing in life. Too many people these days settle down way too early and end up divorced or regretting it later in life.

Just feel like I'm missing out. I've just graduated from Uni after two years of illness and now moved back in with my parents at 24 to save up for a masters degree. Not living the dream like my friends yet.
