Why are we focusing on the fact this creep mistook Sikh's for Muslim's like if he did this at a mosque and killed Muslim's it would make it better?
because it adds to the senselessness of it... and just highlights how retarded the killer was

Not OCUk but reading comments online it appears some people would find it less appalling if he got the "right" group.
It would have been a start. If you're going to go on a killing spree, atleast kill the people you set out to kill. I'm not saying killin muslims is any less heinous.

I was more refering to other comments online, like Sikh posters saying stuff like "for god's sake, where not muslim", like its ok if the victims were muslim. Maybe im reading to much into it...

yup... and tbh... most Sikhs I know aren't exactly big fans of Muslims in the first place

in ref: to sikhs being mistaken for muslims in general... (and assuming a sikh who dislikes muslims) being mistaken for someone you don't like is prob worse than being mistaken for something you're impartial to or you like... though this is side tracking a bit as we're talking in the general sense of sikhs being mistaken for muslims in america

I didn't say they did - I said most sikhs I know do - I don't know every sikh on the planet or even the majority of them
