Rooney - Van Persie

.... Would win the league comfortably. Young, Scholes, Cleverley, Anderson, Giggs, Welbeck and Hernandez in reserve for when some need a rest.
 
Don't know about that, with or without Van Persie I still don't think we have the players in the middle to control the game against the better sides.

As a non Arsenal supporter I don't see the difference going to either club as they are both your rivals for the top 4.

Is it still not sinking in for Arsenal fans that you are a feeder club like rest of the 16 or 17 clubs in the premier league? You get players, you build them and their reputation and richer clubs come and take them away. First it was Spain that continually took your players away and the excuse of the weather and lifestyle was used. Now it's winning things.

Hardly a feeder club.Apart from Fab we got the most out of the players before they left.

You could say the same about Utd. Getting Ronaldo to his best then he moved up a step to RM :p
 
Obviously RVP would strengthen United considerably but I'd only really be happy if his signing was coupled with another. I hope we had an alternative to moura in mind.... Add rvp, kagawa, and a midfielder to the mix and we'd be pretty bloody formidable. Without that extra midfielder we'd still be in trouble if Carrick got injured.
 
I'm not sure whether its been mentioned yet but Rodgers spoke about the Agger rumours in his press conference today. He basically said that he wants to keep him but he has to be realistic and that everybody has a price and if a massive bid comes in then he may consider it if he believes it is in the clubs best interests.

Some people are speculating that this might be the club trying to force his hand regarding a new contract, which might be completely or partially the case but I still think that the club would seriously consider a big offer for him.
 
I'd certainly be surprised if RVP joined us, I'd have thought Arsenal would have sold at a lower price to an overseas club rather than sell to us.
 
i would love to get RVP but i feel bad for the arsenal fans because arsenal is one of the clubs i have abit of respect for they haven't had it giving to them on a plate,and the seasons where united and arsenal were challenging for title were some great memories

Still not concrete but certainly more likely. "United players think he will be signed" Unlikely they would know much more than we do.

He might be travelling to the other part of Manchester :p

It didn't specify 'United players', just senior players. Arsenal players may know something...
