That is just a confirmation email I believe. I got that last week when I ordered it, with instructions on how to download through Steam. I assume the keys will be sent out separately.
Yeah thats the one , but it does say
. In the bottom left hand corner of the client is a "+ Add a game..." button. Click it.
5. Select "Activate a product on Steam".
6. Paste in the product activation key from below.
7. After a couple of minutes Steam will authenticate the code.
So that had me looking.
Must be a generic instruction email. looking forward to playing this. first impulse buy Ive made in years. I literally read about the game and ordered within 10 minutes.

If the codes are allowing people to preload when you add the code are you being given the TF2 items for preordering?

Nope. Regardless of when you get the key and where from, the only way to get the TF2 items is to pre-order straight from Steam.
