game seems pretty awesome so far and the graphics even without the hd texture pack look superb.
the driving is better than i was expecting aswell
 
Just saw a TV advert for this, looks amazing in a Shenmue esque way. Will probably purchase when it's on sale, I have far too many games to get through as it is. What's the consensus among those who VPN'd it early? Good?
 
Have had a couple of hours so far and I'm really liking it. Characters, story and voice acting seem really very good at the moment.

Looks great too, and the fighting mechanics are a lot of fun.

Also...Emma Stone voices one of the females too. Pretty cool.

Getting used to the camera, but would still prefer it to be improved/free moving.

I've only played 90mins so far but

Combat is awesome (ive only done hand to hand so far)
Driving is better than I expected it would be
Nice audio
Graphics are really well done and in motion its easily one of the best looking pc games (i dont have the texture pack yet either)
@ £20 which you can currently have the game for its a steal

square enix must be laughing all the way to the bank knowing activsion were utterly retarded for canceling the game and letting it go (orginally it was intended to be a true crime reboot)

V-sync off / frame rate limit to 60 / motion blur off - seems to sort it for me.

huh thanks for the info, I will try that out. It seems to only happen with nVidias - I guess since the game has AMD logo, they did not properly test it on nvidia, and nvidia itself did not have access to prerelease code due to AMD's involvement.
This makes me angry.
 
Im in 2 minds, I would like a demo first. As I have GW2 and BL2 purchased ready for release. So a demo would be great.

Shame they dont do many demos these days.

gw2 that was the thing that was holding me back, but game looks great so for 20 quid ill give it a punt, it will be like £5 in steam xmas sale tho lol...

Just downloading this through Steam after getting it from GMG with that cheeky 20% code.

Sorry to be a pain, but I am a complete noob when it comes to unlocking games early on Steam via a VPN. I have never used a VPN before so if someone could offer me some advice that would me much appreciated. Apologies in advance if this has already been explained elsewhere.
