I own a set of Logitech S220s and they are wonderful for the £11 I paid, however the sub makes a horrible buzzing that is extremely annoying ad distracting. I've tried some solutions online and none of them have helped.

I was wondering if anyone has a fix or knows a good set of speakers that i can replace my s220s with that don't make an awful noise.

Thanks, Antony.

Could be a fault I suppose. I have seen a few comments from people that say they have those speakers, and AFAIK, they haven't mentioned any buzzing issues. Either they haven't noticed any buzzing, or you've been unlucky to get a set with a fault. They are very cheap though, too cheap really. With any product, if it's too cheap, the components will be cheapest of the cheap, and thus not particularly any good. Having said that though, quite a few people have reported a similar issue with AE Aego M's recently, and they cost £120+. So much for the phrase, 'you get what you pay for'. :p

The Aego's issue is probably a bad batch though, rather than any components being too cheap. They have been around for years, and are highly rated. If that was a common problem, I'm sure they would not have such a high rating over the years.

I'd get a more expensive set. Even £40-£50 is cheap for 2.1 speakers, but any such set will have better components, and should not have such buzzing issues.

Logitech Z323, Creative T3130 or Microlab FC330's. Personally, I like the look of the Microlab's. They make some nice speakers. Creative's and Logitech's have a lot more reviews though.

I contacted Logitech and they said it must be faulty yet they do not stock the S220 any more so are sending me some Z313 speakers.

Cannot complain about their customer service. Quick and easy.
