Sleeping Dogs

Just chipping in for people looking to buy. I got mine from that CJS-cdkeys site. I know they have had bad rep from the whole Guild Wars 2 fiasco of which I was involved in. I found this on their site for £15 after considering to get it for £25 on steam. With their Facebook discount code it was just over £14 so I went for it.

All worked fine through steam and is downloading the HD texture pack while I type.

Now hopefully the game doesn't disappoint :D

Third time lucky, they sent me one which works. Really, i can't fault their customer service at all.

Is there any way I can set steam to turn my PC off when download completes? My google fu is failing me? (apart from the shutdown -s -t 3600)?

Firegod your getting the same issues as me, im just going to let the preload finish downloading....thing is, it doesnt look like its doing anything although it is.... strange.

Glad I wasn't alone. :) I did the same. Left the PC on when I went to work and let it download... now I've just realised the HD content is over 4GB. Bum. :(

I'm glad you got it all sorted out in the end.

you might want to add an update onto there facebook page letting everyone know they arent crooks

I guess sometimes when people are photographing and adding thousands of keys manually into the systems sometimes mistakes will happen

Finally got rid of the stuttering! after a bit of Googling someone on the Steam forum suggested to use cap framerate at 58 using an external program (I used PrecisionX since I overclock) and walah!

So far so awesome!

This game is actually amazing. I was not sure with pre-ordering this but when I read about PC version features, I decided to go for it instead of waiting for sales. So at least they got full money from me for doing a proper PC version. And the PC version is pretty glorious too.

Finally a game that actually feels like you are playing a part in a Hong Kong action cinema movie. At times the action becomes almost silly but most of the time it's pretty grounded. Stranglehold was quite good too when it was released but that was mostly a rail shooter, this is so much more than that. There's no justice in gaming world when a game like this sells less than one tenth of what GTA games sell or better yet, almost fails to materialize because Activision decides it's not a franchise enough for them.

Easy to recommend this game to almost anyone although if you can tolerate a gamepad, you might want to try the game with that first. I didn't really like the kb+mouse controls but it was still very much playable.

I decided to buy it once I got home from work, 47% downloaded, sat here trying to use as little internet speed as possible as I'm on stone-age technology. Downloading at 760kb/s on Steam at the moment.

I suppose I could find a single-player game to play for a while :p

Yep agree with all that....... And Emma Stone is in it!

Oh and I was sure I recognized Tom Wilkinson's voice, his American accent is very distinctive.

This game really should have gotten more attention tbh. Square Enix are riding quite high in my books atm. They made a great job of Deus Ex, and have done a great job here. Both games well looked after for PC!

had a few issues downloading it. got to 56% and would just say download paused. Unpaused it and two seconds later it would go back to paused. Checked the disk and everything seems fine. Anyone had issues like this with steam games before? Uninstalled it and currently downloading again to see if that resolves it. Really want to play this game so i hope it works.

My poor 2.5mb connection has taken a battering started at 14.10 still an hour to go lol why did the HD pack have to be so large :D I just wanna play!
