Would like to see three actually come out and say what effect downloading that much has on others on the network, imagine 3 or 4 users doing the same in these remote areas
I also think the cap is excessive, they should atleast leave you with a connection of about 1meg for browsing
i can see more charges for tethering coming
I must agree. Get a landline cheapskates. (Speaking for everyone, not directed at anyone in particular)Why do people have to take the **** like the OP and ruin unlimited plans for everyone...
Im not to fussed. My connection has been stable and fast all the times. My peak usage is about 2gb a month.
But 90gb, why are you moaning? Many ISP's wont even let you do that.
Why do people have to take the **** like the OP and ruin unlimited plans for everyone...
Been using the hotspot function on my Galaxy S2 (The One Plan) for my laptop, desktop etc, for the last few months and its been faultless.
Over the last few days, I've noticed that the speed is abysmal - torrents feel like they're being throttled, and even normal web pages are sluggish to load.
I've pulled down about 90gb of data in the last month, and wonder whether this could be the cause, or are 3 just having problems at the moment?
I agree it is a quite a lot but if they say unlimited, no fair usage policy then they're asking for it. But I thought you weren't allowed to tether with the All You Can Eat data plans?
I'm someone who will switch back to three once this has been resolved. The One Plan and HSPA+ back at the end of 2011, before everyone started jumping onto these cheaper AYCE data packages, was better than any other network.
The OP sounds like Homer Simpson in an all you can eat restaurant.
The restriction is applied for a few days after downloading too much in any 24 hour period, not a monthly period.
There's people who have gone into the store my cousin works in complaining they got capped after using upwards of 20GB in a single day.
