Forums Similar to OCUK?

AVForums, Neowin, [H]ard are some of the better ones out there and they don't have GD trolling.

If trolling is your thing however then Rogan board, GenMay, STEAM forums (:D).

Actually Rogan is quite good but the amount of people getting pinked/negged seems to grow each other week. they don't last long though.

There aren't any other boards I know that are like this.

Just for the record, I used to frequent thesite.org, Sundissential and Napigator. Same user name Monserrat for each. Thesite.org is aimed at 16-25s, so I got older and the people who I knew there have moved on, all strangers to me now. Sundissential was a clubbing board, probably the best board I've used. Met loads of new people on there from clubbing. We still meet up but the board has been offline for a few years now. Napigator was a plug-in for Napster (i.e. Napster 1st time round 1999-2001) and they had a board with people with a good ear for music. That lasted until 2007 then they all moved to Facebook etc and became a divided community.

My only other board nowadays is Ukrides with people there who like to discuss themeparks and fairground rides.

OP - whatever interests you really. Find a hobby, like I did with themeparks and google up a forum. Lurk on a few of them for a bit then pick one that you think has an active community.

I used to be a regular on the PC Format Forums but they have been merged with other magazine forums and are now a shadow of their former beauty :)

Don't link to competitors read faq :D
Just for the record OCUK are the best there is no other comparison.

PCworld.com has no link to the purple shirt company, it's an american based company, who deal with reviews of hardware and software, have how-to sections, and as posted, an active forum.

I've found the Something Afwul forum to be pretty good, though you have to pay to register.

Still, a nice community from what I've seen but that has only been a few different threads about specific games...

Another vote for Something Awful.

Paying to register filters out the kids and weak trolls, resulting in higher-than-normal quality content.
