What to do when a friend owe's you money...?

Ok, so I lent her the money. Calm down now.

Anyway, so I should tell her I need it back, or forget about it and not do it again?

Are you an invalid?

Seriously, either you want the money back (which you've made clear you do) and you ask for it back.

Or you don't and you just move on.

Ok, so I would probably class her as one of my best friends.

About 2 months ago she needed some money to pay a bill and I borrowed her £40,

I offered to buy the wallpaper and paint and said she could give it me back when she got it and so gave her another £55.

She also want's to buy my Android Tablet from me for £100 and keeps saying "when are you bringing it down? I'll have to get the money from the bank" but I don't want to hand it over until I have the cash now as I might never get it.

You keep lending her money as you probably want to get in her pants...

Give her the Android Tablet and tell her she can pay you later (add the £100 onto her total)... lend her money for a bunch of other things... wait until the total racks up a bit then present it to her... when she's like 'Oh but I can't afford £400 right now' suggest another way she can pay off her debt

Indeed. OP, when did you first realise that you wanted more than friendship whilst she was content to milk you for money? Tell us you've realised this. You have, right?

She is engaged with two kids, friendship is fine thanks :D

Why is she asking you for money, and not her partner?

Sounds like she knows that you're a mug and is using you as such.

In that case when did you first realise that you should probably get better friends? Why are you the go-to guy for trifling sums of money? Does she work? Does her partner work? You're not students are you?

"Hi, I feel a bit awkward for having left this so long and should have brought it up earlier. Could you give me back the $x I lent you? Great, see you later."

This forum, Jesus Christ.
