Has anyone got there pre order yet ? i pre orderd from tesco online but not heard peep from em since doing so. Knowing my luck i wont get it for weeks yet!!
 
I can't remember and am just too lazy to scroll back page after page to find the answer, so hopefully someone can help...

Is a fresh download of the client much smaller than having the patched client that I've been using for the beta weekends? My GW folder is currently sitting at 16.1GB.
Also, is there much point having the game installed onto an SSD?

Having only played GW1 on a trial weekend, it seemed faster to me running on an SSD. NO idea about GW2.
 
Thanks wab ;), i have not felt the same way about a MMO since i used to play DAOC, i am hoping to get the good old days back thats fun and great people to hang out with. Gonna have to warm up the mike and make sure its working ok

After dropping £50 on Diablo 3 and got bored quick i am hoping this is gonna be a better investment :confused:
 
I found that -auth paramater

Worth holding on to if there's similar issues with connecting to the login servers come saturday :P

I dropped the game order and bought it from the gw2 site instead :D, I may as well play from headstart day 1 if I'm going to be in a guild

Don't need to worry about the app mate if you don't want to, just sign up and let me know and I'll add you to the GW2 group :)

Okay I've signed up as "arknor" and I wont bother to make an application if I dont have to.

Headstart day 1 will be interesting for me as I've avoided watching any GW2 videos or reading about it at all.

I have no clue what classes are OP and which ones are gimped so hopefully I'm not making a big mistake if I decide to start as an Engineer.

I'll end up with multiple Chars endgame anyway so I supose it wont matter to much ?
