Put it on the far right of the screen, low down near the pillar.
No, stuff is in the way, like the steering wheel, dial binnacle and so on. Anyways, you look right and down then you are staring into the pillar and can't see the road. Put it in the middle and you can still clearly see the road within your vision while looking at it. Right and low is just a terrible place.
FWIW though I can't stand anything in the window at all and wouldn't have one.
I have just installed a 3D projector HUD satnav system, so even the cars infront can see where I'm going.

The car in front is a Toyota.
You're either:
1) A woman.
2) Slightly special.
3) Have some sort of horrific neck injury.
Or I suppose you might be American*.
*This is a reference to your brain capacity, not the side of the road you drive on.
No, it's just an horrendous place to have the satnav compared to low-centre of the windscreen. If you genuinely think that people put the satnav there so that other people can see the screen (!!!) then may I suggest that it is fact you who is the tetraplegic oestrogen ridden yank.
I put mine in the lower right corner.
I await your judgement![]()
Stick it wherever you want it nath (oo-er missus), as long as I am not subjected to it from afar, all will be well with the world![]()
I find it difficult to put the Satnav anywhere, because my brakes are quite powerful it often comes off the screen and either hits a passenger or goes into the back seat.
