I did yesterday after cancelling a GAME preorder.

in the longrun I guess the extra 15 is worth it for a game beeing as ambitious as GW2

other companies would gladly sell the same game with an 8.99 subscription ala SWTOR which is less an MMO than GW2 is (no that i have anything against subscription based mmos aslong as they are a full MMO and not some watered down game where you always feel alone in the world)

I've ordered from Tesco and am getting very worried it wont turn up on time, but i dont have a fast enough internet connection to cancel the order and buy direct from Anet. I would still be downloading this time next week if i did that!!:(
 
Last time i checked their website (yesterday), the standard edition was £49.99 and the one that includes early aceess (digital) was £64.99. Why do people say they paid £50 for early access ? (i can't check their website now)

£49.99 is 50 pound, its called rounding up. :eek:

You need to read better :)

All the editions on their website come with the early access, the cheapest version being the £50 one!

Sounds like your bank is declining all online transactions, LloydsTSB have done this to me a few times... I usually need to ring up their fraud team and get the transactions cleared to make it go through.

When it happens to me they block both paypal and card transactions also which is why I think it is this.

If you ordered from Tesco Entertainment then I wouldn't worry, I've pre-ordered loads of games from them and I've always had them before launch.

Their tracking/dispatch email system is always slow, so don't worry if you haven't received an email saying its been dispatched yet, more often than not you'll get the dispatch email just after it drops through your letter box :D

The cards I've tried are from 3 different banks.

If that's true, I do need to read better. Thanks ! :) From their design on the main order page I got something else.

Thanks for that input, although I fear that the bank holiday may cause delay. I would happily cancel the order and give ANet the cash, but there isn't a cancel order button for some odd reason!

Probably just wild anxiety caused by being horrendously excited about release!

I just cancelled my amazon order as it wasnt even going to dispatched till the 28th!
 
All 3 of them :p? Even my paypal account gets instantly rejected. Might have to see if I can pick up a physical copy somewhere, but then I'd have to download and patch the bugger.
