I did royally **** off the girlfriend when my alarm went off at 4:55 this morning, but she's over it now, I'm very fortunate!

I've got the next 3 days off and the house to myself too so I can see myself spending an obscene amount of time on this. It's probably just as well its down now, I've been able to shower and feed myself/the lizard.

got to say thou I have been enjoying it so far like the fact you get Exp for everything you do crafting/exploring/fighting
Also I am glad I didn't play the beta as its all new and shiny to me )

That's strange, it's one of my least favourite things about the game.

It's the MMO equivalent of the modern FPS genre's tack of giving you an award, ribbon and standing ovation for everything - even the stuff that should be requisite in that sort of game. You reloaded a gun? REWARD MEDAL! You travelled to a new questzone? FIVE THOUSAND XP AND AN ACHIEVEMENT!

Noobification, imo.

Its basically enabling you to progres in the game how you see fit. Not by being forced to do certain quests/grinding mobs.

Well the vista thing isn't like that, plus it promotes exploration and not simply grinding mobs for xp?
