I decided to fire up MOHAA (with breakthrough addon) again after a few years. Ive just ended up playing for over an hour! The level design, how easy it still is to get playing online, how many people still play it, speed of play...

Managed to get it changed to 2560 x 1440 and plays beautifully at 90fps constant

Think ill get hooked on this again, 8 years ago me and my 4 hour mates played this to death and now its still as fun!
 
yeah great games will always be great games ;)

like me when i play cod one or uo . really makes you wondered what happened to fps.
 
I played it last year, my first experience of the game.

It was awesome, I was expecting it to be too shonky but it was actually pretty smooth. Played on this tdm server that had parajump spawns and had a ton of fun.
 
MoHAA is the best FPS period. Medal of Honor has really gone down hill, I can still remember to this day playing MoH 2 (underground I think) on PS1, no ammo so I throw a grenade at a soldier, and it bloody impacts and falls to the ground. The realism for its day was incredible and then the soldier crouched down and picked the nade up and threw it back!? Literally blew me away.

Don't think I played MOHAA when I was growing up, just watched a youtube vid and it looks pretty sweet.

I played SoF, COD2 & Wolfenstein Enemy Territory growing up.. I'd pay to be 10 again :p
 
I bought MoH in a Steam sale 18 months ago, maybe more.

I never got round to playing it, perhaps I should install it!
 
I loved the MoH:AA single player, especially the sniper levels. It was so Private Ryan :D

Yeah, don't confuse the crap that was the reboot of Medal of Honor to the original MoH:Allied Assault. Miles apart in years & quality.

I remember seeing MOHAA on a mate's PC, and just sat watching him playing it for ages... couldn't wait to get hold of a copy for myself!
 
The multiplayer is a bit rough by today's standards I have to warn you if you're thinking of replaying this.

But the gameplay shines through! Its just to begin with its a bit "wtf this looks worse than I remember".

I've been typing the above german taunts in BF3 chat of late for a laugh, especially on german servers.

Gute arbeite leute.
 
I've seen french schoolgirls shoot better, I think was my favourite one.

Or I would spam That guy's going to get us all killed...in deathmatch servers.
 
I ruined my A-Levels because of this game. It's my first real love of online gaming and nothing has come remotely close since. I LOVE that game. Its my all-time favourite game.

Really? Because I've always felt that it has aged relatively well.
