Guild Wars 2

I can see why they haven't opened the official forums yet, because it would be full of people moaning about a new MMO having teething problems. Which in the scheme of MMO's are very much minor and despite this its still the smoothest MMO launch and most "complete" game to release since 2004!
 
Has anybody done much WvW yet? I had a quick blast earlier today and noticed that Desolation held the most keeps/camps. However as soon as I started playing, one of the other servers went on a massive offensive and began recapturing everything.

I had no idea what I was doing really as today is the first time I've played but it was extremely fun. A small group of us were protecting a supply line when about 30 enemies came charging over the hill and wiped us out. I can't wait till it all gets more serious.
 
Should do as they did in GW1 with a patch when you restart and not force you to. This way you can do it when and if you please and doesn't have everyone connecting at once and crippling your login server.

Anyone else having issues with wvwvw? I literally queued for about 4 hours yesterday and couldn't get in. Same today so far.

Was you with us last night, think the French server already hate us, we kept going around the big fights them smashing them from the back and wiping them, in 2 different borderlands we took every fort/keep/ supply camp ..and took the time out to get the vistas :D

Nah mate. Still haven't bloody got in, lol.
 
Anyone know how to change the camera control so its more like WOW ?

e.g. when i rotate the camera, the character moves in that direction?

I find it annoying using the A+D keys to move/pan left and right.
