Whether you like PvE or PvP the game has everything, for me it's the WvWvW that will keep me entertained.

Personally, I really like the way you can spend your time just exploring and seeing the amazing vistas in game. It always feels like there's something to do without being forced to go a certain direction or route.

above all though, decide for yourself :)

I must make a mesmer second character, once I'm more comfortable with my thief main. Just looks like a crazy amount of fun. :D
 
The thing i really dislike with this game is after the first event, if you are playing with friends it just splits you up and puts you into overflow servers/instances. Which is horrible, ive tried playing with 3 different friends and its happened each time.
 
Does anyone know of a guide for wvwvw pvp?

Managed to get in earlier but hadn't a clue as to what I was doing. Plus the tutorial guy doesn't really help much.
 
What crafting professions did you all pick?

I picked armor and weapon smithing with my warrior.. Quite fun learning how it works, got to use your head a bit!..

Im just wondering if I should have picked cooking as the second profession? I cant find out anywhere if I will be needing or need cooking stuff for one of the smithing professions? Especially regarding the recipe discovery stuff..

I dont know, maybe to combine sword + isignia + mushroomsoup ? :D

all i know is, apart from the eternal battlegrounds, the other 3 are actually the same map (but locations on them will be 'localised' -- i.e named different)

if you enter your server battleground, you are in effect defending your servers assets, if you go into one of the other ones then you are an attacker in their world.


i hope this snippet helps. the actual getting supplies and building seige weapons, i cant help with, sorry m8y
