-England v South Africa: Test, ODI and T20I series-

First ODI today, weather forecast looks terrible - think we'l be lucky to get a game if the met have things correct - predicting most of the first innings but then a washout.
 
1:45 start if we get no more rain (haha), probably 32 overs or so.
Rain radar looks packed until 8pm though so i doubt we'l get a result.

What do you think of our chances today? Christ wakes dropped for Samit Patel as they feel the rose bowl will turn (it usually dose).

We tossed and south Africa called it correctly, they chose to bat feeling it will be tougher to bat on later today.

The grounds men have seemingly done a fantastic job of keeping it dry during the monsoon weather the last few days.

Looking forward to this one.
 
Hehe true, but they would real left out if we didn't try. Looks like this is going to be an interesting game, thought they would get a bucket of runs earlier, but we have bowled well and curtailed them quite a bit.
