Ok, real picture of a purchase today to make up for it:
So these two boxes arrived this morning and right before my Kendo practice.

Ordered these last month and paid for them last week, but they arrived today, so... :p
The girl on the left is Kotomi Ichinose-chan from Clannad, was really pleased to get her since she's no longer produced, she was 4200 Yen, next the girl in the middle is Luka Megurine-san an Vocaloid who sings better then most crap you hear today, she was 6510 Yen. Her base is a record, even has that feel to it. The details and painting on her is pretty awesome.
Finally the one on the right is Louise-chan from The Familiar of Zero, really happy I got her since she's very hard to get now. She was only 2940 Yen and is worth 3/4x times that much if I was to sell her. :p

I've never understood why people buy these? XD They look cool but I'd rather have an anime collection to watch rather than have loads of worthless figures. Enlighten me.
Gotta admit I'd buy some Fate and Code Geass figures if I could justify the cost and if I had space.

I dont. My girlfriend likes a fair amount of anime and im almost 80% sure she isnt Japanese
. I only said that because if IronWarrior is the guy im thinking of, he only ever seems to be buying anime dolls, anime tshirts and anime merchandise. Also he takes Kendo. Its a bit obsessive.

They look nice to display, think of them as 3D posters or works of art you put on your walls.
My Anime collection is about 8TB's big.
They not worthless, they are like gold. There value doubles in price. Have about 8+ figures that I paid £100+ for but I could sell them for £200+ now.
Oh I buy computer stuff every so often. They not dolls, they are model figures. You can buy dolls but they cost £150 and look like girls dolls, which I wouldn't buy... They girly stuff.

I disagree with their worth but I agree they look nice. I still wouldn't have the space for them T_T
