Just thought I'd give a heads up in case anyone hadn't seen this yet.
Toyo T1R Proxes 195-50-15 are only £29.89 + £2.99 p+p @ CamSkill Performance, don't know how long the price is staying or nothing.

Hopefully will save someone a bit of cash

Does it make much difference - does tyre technology really advance that much? I've got T1-Rs on the Lexus and they seem like a really good tyre, certainly very good for the price

Garbage tyre and I rue the day I listened to people who said they were good. They are cheap for a reason.

In comparison to the Eagle F1's I wanted to replace and was recommended compared well with them, they are absolute garbage on my MX5, which is pretty light.

How light? I have a 1060kg car and they just understeer at the slightest provocation, wheel spin on a torquless wonder and make Mr Blobby look like Rambo in his hay day

I've only had them on my MR2, and they wear out in no time and make the handling feel even more soggy than it already is. Seem to grip well though.

I assumed this was down to it being a relatively heavy car (1300kg) as lots of people seem to be happy with them on 106's 205's etc

I think it's more people having plastic tyres, then fitting T1R's and thinking they're great. I had Conti's on my 106 and they were far better and a few quid more

I'm so glad I only bought 2, theyll be going on the front soon replaced by something decent.
