Hmm well it depends... Do we blame the carrier? The Microbe? Toxoplasma gondii? The human?

Personally as a cat owner, I'm well aware that cats have disease in their urine. Which is why I generally keep their urine and my food separate(I know right!?). Same goes with cross contamination. they also dont go up on the counter tops.

If I ended up ill with the disease though, I'd be to blame. Not the cat.

The largest part of the article on the BBC was about sheep and lambs and why its important to wash your hands after handling those too. No mention of evil sheep in the headline though. Which is a shame, evil sheep are cooler than evil cats.
