Guild Wars 2

I got to lvl 40 yesterday and bought full "set" lvl40s blue/green armor from the Trade post for about 5 silver.
Save your karma guys, we'll need it later on !

Im doing the same, waiting til level 40 (level 38 currently) and then buying some gear from trading post once I bought my training book.

Anyone looking for a copy, i've found a site that's not charging a massively overinflated price for a non-CD version.

Seems they only deliver the box with the key inside, but still comes in at less than £41

Not sure if I'm allowed to say the name as they are a competitor, but if you scan the internet I'm sure you'll find em

Is there places where you can sell your account?
I've tried it and really can't get on with the controls/camera there's nothing else attached to my account so I wouldn't mind flogging it for like £30 :)

Level 80 warrior, going back to complete the story. I have to say, its pretty epic. :D

I still can't decide!!! I really want to continue playing. I have gotten over my addiction to gaining new skills and am concentrating on the game at hand.

So yea, Thief, Elementalist or Guardian?

You know that you can rebind the controls to anything you want don't you??! What's so bad about the camera anyway?

I got to level 52 after a short bout of crafting and decided to hit the Trading Post. I managed to pick up an entire new set of gear, weapons, rings, accessories et all for about 40 silver - bargain as this included gems on all but 5 items and it was a MASSIVE upgrade (weapons had about 150 dps more each for 86 copper a piece)

I reckon the crafting mats are pricier though but I didn't check

A quick question on the guardian.

What's with the virtues, are they passive? Everytime I press one it vanishes off the boon(buff) bar for 45secs then re-appears.

The "aura" can essentially be consumed for an increased effect (see the tooltip for individual effects), during the cooldown time the passive effect no longer applies, but will be rebuffed once it comes off cooldown.

But yes, each one has a passive effect such as Virtue of Justice applying burning condition on every fifth attack, but can be consumed to instantly cause everyone to inflict burning on their next attack (during which time you no longer apply burning on every fifth attack until the cooldown has refreshed).

I reckon prices will start to go up as this initial wad of saved up stuff from launch gets gradually depleted. If not then it's permacheap gear for levelling :D Buying new stuff even every 2-3 levels is dirt cheap and it gives such a boost all round - who said pvp would be non gear affected :P
