Guild Wars 2

Well it is a new game to some people, and they do need to learn things. I know my reason for this is that I have been into other things such as questing/exploring/wvw/pvp

I have only just started crafting which I now have to go back to the other starting areas to get the materials and still get exploring done while I am at it.

So its not all that bad being a noob at this

PvP rewards glory, you rank up, you get max level and all skills, full armour etc, the teams are 8 people and there's 2 teams on a smallish map.

WvWvW rewards xp (so you level up), you get max level but no new skills or gear so low levels will still be at a disadvantage. There's 3 pretty large teams. There's also PvE objectives (skill points, vistas and POIs) on the map as well as events (there's events in PvP too but they're just to take/defend objectives, in WvWvW there's escort quests too). There's various machines too to help take down keep walls etc.

I wonder why people want to win in WvWvW rather than just have fun in massive battles. Are there rewards for winning WvWvW? Im on descolation and never got any rewards from doing WvWvW so far.

Then the whole guardian class is broken since we only have one ranged weapon and it's useless. The whole point of the class is to put down defensive abilities to protect allies and if people are getting 1 shot through them, it defeats the whole point of the class.

I assume you've not played a guardian against said bosses and the guardians you may have played with are pugged? I'm ot doubting they do massive damage, but guardians are serious tanks and I don't think I've ever gone down in less than 3 hits even against the most powerful bosses I've seen, and that's not including things like aegis.

You get a buff and I've heard rumours of there being a similar system to the original GW where you unlock a new PvE area if you win in WvWvW, I'm not 100% though.

We came second the other day and even though it ended there was no kind of reward. I just assumed that it was because we didnt actually win.

Extra loot, extra XP, realm-wide buffs, bragging rights, your guild logo hanging from a castle. Take your pick.

That said,

just have fun in massive battles

is pretty hard to beat

The 'rewards' are server rewards are they not. So everyone on 'X' server gets +5% XP, and +10% magic find etc etc.

You get that as you play, so the better you are doing the more you get (press B and you can see what you're getting)

I haven't really looked at it, but I believe bonuses have a maximum level and are awarded pro rata based on performance compared to the leading world. So if you're winning you'll always have the max, but if you're not winning it will depend on how close you are. If nobody puts in the effort you'll get nothing, if you're behind by a gnat's pube you'll get close to the maximum.

Rewards are ongoing, so the more your server holds the more rewards you get, if another server takes your stuff then they get the rewards instead.

Well the other shop owned by game it's £36/£37 delivered, in stock aswell for a physical copy.

If not then any legit key site, but they are charging a lot right now for the copies.

There are no PM's on these forums, also Trust is basically using his feedback page to send him an email. He is not asking for an account to be lent to him, he is asking for someone to email him a place that isn't out of stock or that is legit.
