hehe uh it really depends on ur router and ur internet speed and also how good signal u get

the max i get wireless is like 10mb/s but usually less, but that still maxes out my internet
on cable like 80mb/s but that only helps if transferring files from one pc to another

i think signal strength matters the most, only reason i said about the usb was i had a belkin usb stick before and wow that thing was horrible

maybe that one is good i duno^^

i can always send it back if its crap lol, my wireless on my laptop drops out but our router is canny poor, virgin are sending us a new one as were gettin a free upgrade to 30 at some point! cant wait for me pc to take 15 seconds to turn on ha

true yep
superhub? >< same here theres a huge thread about it in networking section
we got the upgrade here about a month ago its been pretty good lately

weve not had it yet, told my house mate to ring up and complain, we should get 60 rather than the 30 but he pays for it so its upto him lol, what games do you play online? had dayz on since 11 oclock this morning on me pals oc, taking over lives now ha

yeah im upstairs and the router is down stairs

the 2 antana ones are 300bps and the single one is just 150bps does that make much diference?

Why don't you use powerline adapters, I use them, they're pretty awesome. About £35 I paid, my wireless was awful but now i'm technically wired it's great again. :)

Mine are TP-link 200mbps.

weve got them for the down stairs pc as its on the other side of the room, il have a read up on the ones you use :)

It just makes use of the cabling that's already in the house but for carrying data, as long as it's all under the same electrical circuit i.e the same house it'll be fine. My router is downstairs and i'm upstairs, you just plug one into the wall by the router, ethernet into router. One into the wall by your pc, and ethernet into you pc, done! It's really easy.

As long as it's all in the same electrical circuit it'll work, not sure on apartments tbh. I've used them at my previous address and now still do at my current address and never had a problem. Never dips or drops connection, no lag spikes etc and this is with Virgin ADSL, which is crap!

I'm not sure of any bad stories in relation to powerlining, i've certainly never had any.

yeah that does sound belter really, altho the light on out landing flickers like a lightening strike every few hrs so id be worried of the integrity of our wiring lol, you can get 500 version of yours for a fiver more :)
