yeah im upstairs and the router is down stairs
the 2 antana ones are 300bps and the single one is just 150bps does that make much diference?
Why don't you use powerline adapters, I use them, they're pretty awesome. About £35 I paid, my wireless was awful but now i'm technically wired it's great again.![]()
Mine are TP-link 200mbps.
It just makes use of the cabling that's already in the house but for carrying data, as long as it's all under the same electrical circuit i.e the same house it'll be fine. My router is downstairs and i'm upstairs, you just plug one into the wall by the router, ethernet into router. One into the wall by your pc, and ethernet into you pc, done! It's really easy.home plugs? do they work from a down stairs socket to an up stairs with it being a different wireing loom or is it woreless? i thought they used the wiring as to wire it so to speak?
weve got them for the down stairs pc as its on the other side of the room, il have a read up on the ones you use![]()
As long as it's all in the same electrical circuit it'll work, not sure on apartments tbh. I've used them at my previous address and now still do at my current address and never had a problem. Never dips or drops connection, no lag spikes etc and this is with Virgin ADSL, which is crap!ive never tried them, what if you live in apartment or your house has bad wiring? is there bad stories too?
