Allow me to begin with the words of the great Harry Enfield:

"Hey-up Madam, and what a very pleasant day it is too. I wonder if you'd be interested in voting for t..."

Friends. Forumers. Countrymen.

I come to you today to ask your assistance. Some of you may know that currently Nvidia is running a competition to design a PC skin, in fact on the contest page it states there were over 2000 entries.

Well a member of my family was picked for the final 25 put forward to a public vote! I figure this is the kind of chance you aren't going to see that often in a lifetime so I thought I'd post it on here and try and do as much as I can to drum up some support for her design outside of the friends and family that will be voting for her.

This is her design:

Of course there are some really great designs on there but if you like the design I would be extremely grateful to you guys if you would vote for her.

You can get to the voting page here:

I can tell you that she spent a lot of time and effort on this and she is extremely pleased to have made it through to the final 25. I know she would be thrilled if, with your help, she could win one of the prizes.

Thanks for your time, and hopefully for your vote!

Oh btw, here's the sketch for those who haven't seen it:

Thanks Abraxaz.

Let me reiterate, my intention was to raise awareness. If you go to the voting page and decide to vote for another design or not to vote at all, that is of your own volition. If you like her design then by all means give it your vote, same goes for any of the other designs.

I came here as it is the oldest online community I have been involved in, there was no intention to offend or bully - I'm not General Al Adeen!

...having taking a moment, reread, and held my hand high and confessed my mistake..

Voted :)

Thanks DirtyJester and no worries, I just wanted to make sure I hadn't given the wrong impression. I'd like to think I haven't caused any trouble in this community so I didn't want this to be the start!

I voted for it, not because I like it, I don't really, but the rest of them are tripe and it would seem they didn't want to use anything other than nVidia green.

I like hers, voted.

Why are the bombs falling from the jet in a vertical line though?
[/pendant]

Surely as the plane moves forward the higher bombs are released at a point further forward. As the earlier released ones slow due to air resistance?

Meh, I thought the effect would be more pronounced that it was. :)

Voted. I reckon it's one of the better ones anyway (not to mention the overwhelming majority are predominantly green, which makes your family member's one more unique).

Voted - I'm always happy to help out a fellow forumite :)

And also to annoy the inevitable haters who turn up saying this is unfair. What they never realise is every other competitor out there is canvassing votes on their own forums and social media sites ;)

Thanks a lot guys for your support.

I know what you mean JayMax, I mean of course she's going to spread the word to friends and family, plus I don't tweet or anything so I figured this as the next best thing. And I only ask you judge it on it's own merit - no purchase necessary as it were.

@ paddy, I brought up that bomb verticality and the answer I got was something about artistic license ;S
