Guild Wars 2

Oh, that reminds me of another thing, I wish areas were a bit more closely related to their GW1 counterparts, I want to be able to go somewhere and recognise landmarks from my GW1 days. It's only 250 years later, so there should be stuff still hanging around from before. But going through Lornars Pass and there was nothing that even slightly matches up.

Most of it does match up. I've got an overlaid map somewhere that has the areas and settlements from both games on it, and it's mostly pretty close. Lornar's Pass is the only major divergence, because the entire zone called Lornar's Pass is due east of the original. Where Sorrow's Furnace used to be off to the east of the run to the Forge, it's now in the southwestern corner of the Lornar's Pass zone.

I found a copy in a supermarket who have a five letter name and a blue, white and red logo. Last time I checked they were still in stock online.

I have a factory sealed standard edition for sale if anyone is after the game. I can send the box or just send you the serial if you want.

email me in trust :)

I'm having a great time playing this!!

I think the people who are power levelling their way through then moaning have missed the point. I'm only level 30 and have been playing since release!!

The point is to have a nice time playing, not turning the game into a level grind - this is what people also moan about MMO's!

Just relax, take in the views, go for a wonder and have fun!

50quid ! guess they saw how much people wanted to play and how well it has sold within its first few weeks.

Gotta be fair to them I would prob do the same. After all there is no sub to this game so they are making all their money from game sales and in game purchases (gems).

That said I managed to get my copy even when almost everywhere had sold out for only 36.99.

Its been £50 on their site since before release...

Well TBH £50 is rather steep. I paid it because I think they deserve my money after the sheer number of hours I put into GW1.

But when you consider that GW1 cost £17.99 at launch, as did all the add on packs. It does make £50 seem rather harsh!

I got it for £40 from "shop to" on Friday. It seems to go in and out of stock all the time though on there. I checked before lunch on Friday and it was saying out of stock, then just after lunch on Friday it was showing as in stock.

£50 is a bargain in my eyes for a game of this quality, scale and playable longevity. Some of you lot are tighter than cramp!

But I hate not getting a deal on it no matter how good it might be, if they were selling it for £35 online I might be tempted but £50 for a digital copy with no extras, that's just ridiculous, what do you think we are, console jockeys? :)
