Guild Wars 2

Thanks HeX.

Doesn't seem to be a lot out there regarding PS3 controllers, which is what I have.

A lot of setting up and testing to do. I'm guessing worth it in the long run but not every keyboard option catered for easily. Having a good memory will help!

Oh and another thing - the G13, you just plug it into a USB port and go? It effectively acts as a duplicate of keys on the keyboard (in my case a Sidewinder X4) already plugged in?

Hit lv 40 last night on my guardian. Got the next level Traits book, put all points into the vitality and toughness trees.

Purchased a full set of lv 40 armour and weapon blues from the trading post. Got my armour crafting to 175. Still can't get my jewelling to 50....

I realise, after reading those guides on reddit (I linked a couple pages back) that it's best to just wait every 10 levels, hit the trading post, put in an offer for a blue item for your level at a little more than the vendor price and for less than 5 silver you can have a full set of blue gear (blue = 'Fine' I believe). and now I only salvage gear that is yellow or over and sell blue and green pickups.

I find I never get any cash now on lvl 7 and still only getting 60c for a heart completion....

Sold some stuff on the TP but it's only coppers still.... when does the gold start coming?

Harvest EVERYTHING. Sell EVERYTHING.

TBH though, you're only lv7, you're not going to be rolling in cash for a while yet :D

Unless you fluke an Abyss dye drop.

I am not good with monies. I got 1.5gold at lvl 67, did not have enough money to buy lvl 60 rulebook and my 2 professions are stuck at 100 both.

Heed my warning...do not..erm...i don't even know what i did wrong

Edit: actually buying 3 peices of cultural t1 armor was a mahoosive mistake

Im 62 with only a few silver ;(

Have you been crafting? I'm mid 30s and have a couple of gold, realised quite quickly that crafting can eat up money so I'm waiting until I have a couple of max level characters (Could be 12months away..) and then I'm consider doing it.

Got hundreds of collectables so far!

Also discovered if you don't explore/kill mobs regularly and just stick to events you'll miss out on a lot of money although arguably you can level much faster.

I bought 600 copper ore because I couldn't get onto iron which I had a ton of but besides that just get 5 silvers worth of gear every 2 levels. The copper ore cost less than 1g for all that lol. I am of course now poor. Nevermind.

I bought a few things but nothing OTT.

Tier 1 armour - 4 pieces
All training books

Nothing else I guess. I don't sell my finds though unless its trash. I salvage everything.

FFFFUUUUUUU

I had a similar thing happen to me after an entire evening of trying to grind xp in a safe manner only to have someone kite a champion into an AOE I had going. Raged a bit, ported to Lion's Arch to do some crafting to cool down and ended up getting about 4 levels xp from 71-75 in 10 minutes :P Some of the higher level recipes will give you upwards of 20K-30k discovery xp I think!
