I recall we took the 200SX out to get fuel, found a shut down petrol station, then found an open one...and went on a proper drive with compressor stall and...a totally legit 3 point turn in the road, utilising reverse gear of course. ;)

E: "It's got quattro mate" - Best story I've heard at a RR I think. :D

It may have been a Rover. But it certainly wasn't clapped out.

I miss all the meets I used to go on. Annual combe action day where everyone would meet from rover tech and all get on. Me and my mate starting rover200.com too. I still look back on my rover turbo fondly. :(

One of the most surprising threads as far as I am concerned was the RTC that Mattius was involved in when he crashed his Spitfire in Scotland. I was on duty that night and attended the incident + took part in his extrication from the crashed vehicle.

I remember seeing that thread and being hugely shocked by it (in fact my post is just after yours in the thread), partly as my brother has a 1500 and it is all too scary to see how badly they can be damaged.

The ensuing threads by Mattius though... :cool:
