It isn't opinion, but fact - build quality of almost all of the Samsung devices (and pretty much any other mobile device by anyone) is less of that of the iPhone.

erm no one is comparing an iphone here? apple devices scratch, crack in seconds - while they are NICE and HEAVY to hold in hand and it feels of a higher "quality"

the material used for them is not right for a mobile phone - mainly because you drop/scratch etc the device very often and having all that quality in a plastic case is a bit.. poo?

It's my opinion that it's made from cheap plastic?

Ok then I'm sorry to everyone I didn't realise I was using a well designed aluminium phone. Samsung galaxy phones plastic? lol where the hell did I get that idea from. Oh silly me.

front of the samsung phone is all glass - gorilla glass :) sides are metal.. the back is the only plastic bit which again feels solid, yes if you tap it with your fingers it will sound like a yogurt can but that doesn't make it CHEAP

s2 for e.g. is made out of HIGH grade plastic which is in no way cheap, so is the back cover that most people think makes the phone feel cheap - the only reason it feels "cheap" is because its lighter and thin.

so yes, it is your opinion :) in my eyes s2 and iphone 4 - the phones i can compare, and both feel of good quality - bar the fact that if i drop my s2 i would pick it up expecting to see the screen as it was :)

but w/e lets drop the O/T discussion - this is a never ending topic anyway.

I have just bought car insurance.

Last time I just pent two days doing the standard excursion visiting pripyat and Chernobyl. The tour company I go with have got a one time permit to take a group inside the reactors and to also visit duga 3. Plus I want to go to Minsk and the visa is a nightmare unless you can meet the criteria for a 48hour transit so I'm going to take the train Kiev-Minsk-Vilnius. Also I'm meeting someone on the trip so we can plan out trip to Iraq in April.

I went to Minsk when England played Belarus a few years back. We got a ~10 hour train from Warsaw to Minsk which was pretty good. Halfway through they have to lift the carrage off the wheels and onto a new set as the tracks are a different size. I was suprised at how nice Minsk was and how friendly the people were, theres also a hell of allot of good looking women around too, which was a bonus :D

The Jack Daniels Honey was on offer at one of the local supermarkets so I thought I'd give it a go.
It tastes surprisingly nice, I expected it to taste very sickly but instead I found to be very smooth and not too overly sweet

Needed a new torch, our village is prone to power cuts during bad weather, especially during the Autumn when we get hefty storms.

Has a Luminus SST50 emitter, pretty good throw on it but was expecting it to be brighter (alledgedly it's 1300 lumen, slight over exaggeration by the manufacturer)

Have a quad XM-L T6 coming, alledgedly 3000 lumen.
