Your forgetting how much torque my car has. And not saying 0-60 but 50-illegal speeds it is all over the evo! The s15 is beautiful but the r32 is like a icon! Hmm will test both soon

S15s are 250bhp standard, my mate has a s15 as a daily drive in gunmetal grey. Such a nice car for the money.

No, they just understand the relationship between torque at the flywheel, bhp, rpm and how this translates into performance.

No it's not.

A standard Ibiza Cupra with 180bhp does 0-60 in what, about 7 seconds. An extra 20bhp is not going to bother a Lancer Evolution.

I bothered a Evo 8, RX7 Single turbo, M3, Focus RS with my car (220bhp/235lb/ft 1140kg and the right gearing) so it's possible Jewish has too, plus he was there watching

Factor in most people on the roads can't drive for toffee, and I think Jewish's is pushing closer to 210bhp.

Well for someone with an automotive signature i'm shocked! 20 more bhp and 35 more lb/ft, lighter and with more aggressive gearing than the DS3R and i'm high 5's, so there you go Fox

Anyway, Jewish, get a mint R32 in anything but grey.

Take it to VMax, run it for close to 2 miles up a runway and come back and tell me it's quicker or even bothers M3's and Evo's because rest assured it won't once either get into their stride and most likely it won't before that either with those sorts of performance numbers. I also question that a 200bhp fwd car will do high 5's to 60 without some serious gearing tweaks that will handicap it come proper speeds.

200hp/ton is not really that fast. But I guess you could be talking about the Evo fq260

Housey, the first Civic Type R was recorded at 5.9 with 185hp. But tats a nice linear petrol rather than a derv. Although the engine weight of the derv may help with traction I guess

Obviously when we talk track speeds then of course it's a different matter. I'm talking about within speed limits, where most people use their cars. And it's 220bhp not 200bhp, for a lighter car it's a substantial difference.

I too drive a rubbish hatchback diesel that's been remapped and think the guy down the road wont race me in his old Ferrari 360 because he doesn't want to be bothered by me and my really amazing city family car that was designed to be cheap and get good MPG but I have totally changed that with my engineering prowess of paying a dude some money.
