Borderlands 2 release date confirmed ( Launch date trailer also )

early on, the elemental weapons for me were few and far between. but now being level 22, im finding heap loads of everything, apart from s.lag weapons, which still seem rather rare.

I managed to get my first s.lag weapon last night at lvl15... from the slot machine :D

FYI - Noticed that each time you return to the Sanctuary, "Marcus" spawns in a different location there. If you find him, he gives you a rare gun each time! (Maybe more?)
 
cant say ive seen him yet. will look later when i get home though :D theres a chest on tundra express (sp?) that gave me two purple weapons last night :D people say its a developers chest.. but i doubt it.
 
Wasn't there supposed to be a developer's chest in B1 down the side of a cliff or something? Perhaps they have put another in B2.

this chest is down the side of the cliff to the far left of the map from the spawn point ;)

the only way to get to it is jump, and after collecting the weapons, kill your character.
 
Only early level on this so far, but rinsed the hell out of number 1 as it was so epic.

Anyone know if the Maliwan Combustion HellFire SMG makes a repeat appearance in this game? I used that weapon continuously on all 4 class playthroughs, even playthrough 2 and 2.5 as it was so awesome. Hope it appears in Borderlands 2 at some point as well?
 
I'm level 34 at the minute and just finished the mission before the final one, I really really wish that the missions would level with your character. Its so boring running around one shotting loaders with a corrosive pistol as they are 5 levels below you, netting you a whole 3xp per kill...

It seems you either get the choice to do the main story mission first, and make it challenging, leaving the side missions to become too easy, or do the side missions first and have a silly easy story mission.
 
Damn this games hard... I'm playing as a Gunzerker, currently level 13 and I'm stuck trying to kill W4R-D3N - HELP!
 
Found an awesome shotgun (only green rarity) that has a chance to shock.. it's pure epic! Did that 'rat' quest where you go into the bloodshot area sewers and kill all the rats and it destroyed them so bad :D

Tauren - Did you manage to find that guy in Sanctuary? He gave me another awesome blue weapon yesterday.

I did it with a shock weapon (critical hit in the red eye thing) and shock grenades - those ones which project an electricity field so anything that walks within range gets electrocuted.
 
The drops can make Borderlands hard or a push over, right before Willhelm I got a corrosive blue pistol and he was dead in about 9 seconds, now for all I know he was an easy boss anyway, but it felt like he shouldn't have been that easy.

Still love this game though :)

nope. had a look around yesterday, but couldnt find him anywhere in sanctuary :/ i'll have another look when i get home later though.

the developers chest gave me another couple of good blue weapons last night in tundra express though! check it out.
